Position: Finance Manager (1)
Reports to: General Manager and Finance Director Supervises: Team of Accountants & Inventory Manager
Role purpose:
- Establishment and ownership of financial management and business analysis for Vero Foods. Takes operational responsibility for the department's output, people management and skills development.
- Functions
- Planning, Management, Reporting & Supply
Chain management:
- Draft the financial modeling process to facilitate the continuous assessment of business forecasts and performance for short and long term periods.
- Inform of key strategic decisions by generating exceptional financial reporting, dependable financial risk analysis and financial standards compliance analysis.
- Manage relations and negotiations with key financial partners.
- Timely submission of periodic financial statements, profit and loss accounts, budgets, etc.
- Ownership of financial information systems, particularly the Tally ERP.
- Adherence to financial and tax regulations, controls, proper administering and monitoring of all finances & credit control.
- Ownership of Treasury management & credit collection, bank reconciliation and Cash flows
Job requirement
Person specifications:
- Honors degree in commerce, BBA or equivalent and post graduate qualification in financial management is added advantage.
- Professional finance/accounting qualification e.g. CIMA.ACCA.
- Experience of financial responsibility for a company budget, production of management accounts, accounting for value addition operations and external liaison with auditors.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with Managerial and supervisory skills.
