The Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda mandated to regulate all the insurance businesses in Uganda has recently rebranded and would like to strengthen its regulatory objective by bringing aboard energetic, skilled and hardworking Ugandans to fill the following posts.
All the posts will be on a five year renewable contract, subject to good performance.

Purpose of the Job:
To manage, develop and maintain the ICT system
Major responsibilities:
- Develop implement and maintain policies and procedures to support ICT service level agreements.
- Develop, maintain and communicate ICT policies and procedures throughout the Commission and the insurance industry in accordance with best practice and appropriate standards taking into account any legal requirements.
- Formulate proposals, processes and policies for ICT planning.
- Manage and provide hardware and software maintenance, training consultation and recommendations about future planning and development of resources.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP).
- Train staff about uses of existing and new technology.
- Install network stations.
Person specifications:
- At least a Bachelors degree in, Computer Science or Information Technology or in a related discipline from a recognized University.
- At least 3 years working experience in ICT.
