Groups Contract Manager Uganda

Job Purpose:
Responsible for the development of an accurate and efficient contracts biding system, that meets the corporate strategic plan.
Generic Duties:
- Analyzing of tender documents as submitted by the regions and submits to tender committee for review and approval as per the laid down policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate preparation of prequalification and tenders to improve win rate in line with corporate strategy.
- Verification of role of Spencon in tender JV/sub-contract agreements / documents.
- Ensures compliance with company procedures in relation to contractual matters.
- Provide expertise / guidance to the regions in the preparation of contractual claims.
- Plans and implements QSHE procedures, policies and instructions
- Attends to any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Competence Map
Educational Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Professional Training/ Qualifications:
- Diploma in Project management.
- Proficient in application of FIDIC
Skill Requirement:
Analytical, Financial, People, and Negotiation Skills.
Relevant Work Experience:
- 10 years in a similar / related industry.
- Local and international Contract conditions.
