A management will be recruited to deliver the technical assistance. The expert should possess:
Qualifications and skills
- Appropriate qualifications, particularly event management-related or any other comparable qualifications.
- At least 5 years experience in the area of management, particularly of events/conference/workshops;
General professional experience
At least 5 years experience in the area of event planning
Specific professional experience
- Extensive practical knowledge of the organisation of similar events in ACP countries. Specific experience in this area in Africa will be considered most advantageous to the assignment.
- Experience organising events from start to finish, including organising the venue, materials, visas, transport and accommodation for international participants, etc etc.
Total Duration of Work
20 working days are considered a minimum for the contribution of key expert 1.
